About 10 km from Diskit is the high altitude cold desert of Hunder. The sand dunes surrounded by snowcapped rocky mountains are a perfect blend of serenity and wilderness. This desert is home to Bactrian camels, a reminder of the past when Hunder was a stopping-point along the Silk Road. A camel ride in this amazing landscape is an unforgettable experience.
